Why America Needs Harry Braun as President
From a policy perspective, analyst and author Harry Braun is a much more serious candidate than either President Bush or Senator Kerry, and if the American public is made aware of his Phoenix Project Platform, he will be the next President of the United States. He has proposed 6 Constitutional Amendments and his "Phoenix Project" plan will rapidly make the U.S. energy independent while resolving the most serious environmental problems for both America and the other passengers aboard Spaceship Earth. Harry’s plan will supercharge the economy and generate millions of high-quality jobs as wind-powered hydrogen production systems are mass-produced by oil and other energy companies on a scale to make America energy independent of not only imported oil, but all fossil and nuclear fuels by 2010.
The most serious economic, environmental and foreign policy problems are related to America’s addiction to fossil and nuclear fuels, and while both President Bush and Senator Kerry promote token efforts in renewable energy, the vast majority of energy in both their proposals will continue to come from fossil and nuclear fuels. Only Harry has a 5-year plan to permanently phase-out all fossil and nuclear fuels, which is the only way to solve the more fundamental exponential problem of more and more people competing for fewer and fewer resources. As a technical analyst and author, his “Phoenix Project” plan will propose Fair Accounting Act legislation that will provide the financial incentives for oil companies to employ millions of Americans to mass-produce land and sea-based windpowered hydrogen production systems, like the Liberty Ships in World War II.
The sense of urgency for this "transition of substance" is due to the exponential nature of the interrelated energy and environmental problems. Neither Bush or Kerry have explained to the American people that it is exponentially 11:59 for Spaceship Earth, which means we are all like passengers aboard the Titanic, and there is only a limited amount of time to “change course.” While Bush wants to “stay the course,” Kerry wants to rearrange deck chairs.

The Windship systems were developed by William Heronemus, an engineering professor at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Heronemus graduated fromboth the U.S. Naval Academy and MIT, and then served as a naval engineer andarchitect until his retirement in 1965. Note the tugboat at the base of the Windship that is delivering the crew that will live and work in the submerged spherical hulls. Given that each Windship will have a crew of approximately 10 people, the one million windships that will make the U.S. energy independent of all fossil and nuclear fuels will employ 10 million people in high-quality jobs. The hulls will also contain the electrolytic hydrogen production systems that will make hydrogen from the seawater with the electricity generated by the mast of wind turbines.
The stunning images of these “Windships” speak volumes about how to have sustainable prosperity without pollution, and compared to the depressing images now coming out of Iraq, the Windship images are like a breath of fresh air – literally -- because their deployment will virtually eliminate smog and other carbon-based pollution that will replaced by crystal clear air and water. The Windship and other sea-based
hydrogen production systems are strategically important technologies because they will not only make America energy independent, but their large-scale deployment is probably the only thing that will save the remaining ocean and terrestrial wilderness ecosystems from being driven into extinction.
Why Harry Instead of Bush or Kerry
Bush and Kerry want to pressure Saudi Arabia to pump more oil, but according to a page one article in The New York Times (February 24, 2004), the production of Saudi Arabia’s primary oil fields (some of which are more than 50 years old) is already declining, and it is only a question of time before an “uncontrolled decline” occurs. This refers to a dramatic
reduction in output, similar to a roller coaster plunge, which will send shock waves through the global economy, and make people long for the days when gasoline was only $2.00 per gallon. It is why we need to shift from oil and other fossil and nuclear fuels to solar hydrogen systems with wartime-speed.
Only Harry has proposed a “transition of substance” that will mass-produce windpowered hydrogen production systems, and modify every existing vehicle (including aircraft) and power plant to use solar-sourced hydrogen, the only fuel that is safer than gasoline, completely non-toxic, pollution-free and inexhaustible.
Only Harry will profoundly change the scope and nature of U.S. foreign policy by shifting the emphasis to implementing a global solar hydrogen economy and treating others as we want to be treated. This is in contrast to the existing U.S. policies of saying one thing and doing another in order to promote the interests of multinational corporations instead of the interests of the vast majority of people.

Only Harry’s plan will stop the practice of stripmining the tops off mountains in order to get a few days worth of coal, which when burned puts mercury into the brains of our children and other citizens.
Only Harry’s plan will allow all of the nuclear plants, which are corroding ticking timebombs, to be decommissioned with wartime-speed. Harry’s plan will also stop the production of any additional radioactive wastes that have been leaking and out of control for years.
Only Harry has proposed an educational program that will allow each and every student to have access to the very best instructors because they will be recorded on CD or video productions with state-of-the-art animation that will make learning fun and easy.
Only Harry has proposed a non-profit universal health care system for all Americans, which will include incorporating photobiology scientific data into lighting specifications that will transform "sick" buildings into healthy ones.
Only Harry will put an end to the drug wars that only foster gang warfare and violence that makes the illegal drug lords wealthy and hence, powerful.
Only Harry has proposed six constitutional amendments: to make secrecy in government illegal; to make corporate contributions illegal; to balance the budget; to transform America from being a republic to being a true democracy; and a Declaration of Interdependence that will provide federal protection for ecosystems.
Only Harry explains that because of the Exponential Age in which we live, we are as close to a nanotechnology utopia as we are to an ecological oblivion. Because of the exponential nature of the problems, we on Spaceship Earth are like passengers on the Titanic and there is only a limited amount of time to change course. While Bush wants to "stay the course," Kerry wants to rearrange deck chairs. Either way, such policies will not affect the outcome.
